Ipswich Witches and England legend John Louis will be signing his new book, “A Life in Speedway”, at Ipswich Tourist Information Centre (TIC) this Thursday, 17th December. John will be at the Centre, in St Stephen’s Church St Stephen’s Lane, from 11am to 2pm.

“Tiger” Louis, as he was known and loved by speedway fans in the 1970s and 80s, was one of the most successful riders of his time. He was the first Englishman on the World Championship podium for more than a decade when he came third at Wembley in 1974. His career was a glittering one: he represented his team as captain and number one and England and Great Britain, with success as an individual and a team member.
