The Bear Garden

The Bear Garden in the newly refurbished Sailmakers (Tower Ramparts), is the perfect place to take your youngsters to build a new cuddly companion. A rather unique and pleasant shop in the heart of Ipswich’s newly refurbished shopping centre. Be sure to take a visit, especially if you’re looking for the perfect gift this Christmas for a child…. Ipswich Regent

The Ipswich Regent which opened in 1929 proudly sits just out of the town centre on St Helen’s Street. The largest theatre in East Anglia, this venue holds fantastic productions and live acts throughout the year and is always worth a visit to see what going on, check out our events page for the upcoming events.

Pump & Grind

Pump and Grind is a unique coffee shop by day and bar and live music venue by night. Situated on Northgate Street in the heart of Ipswich town centre. The colourful window art & unique exterior makes it hard to miss. The chilled vibe makes Pump and Grind a very relaxing place to come with friends and family or on your lunch break for some locally roasted coffee and fantastic food including one of a kind bagels and burgers. At night the place is a bit livelier with local music acts performing throughout the year.

Tourist Information Centre

The Tourist Information Centre based in St Stephen’s church is a must go place for anyone visiting Ipswich. The friendly and extremely helpful team there will assist you into making your trip to Ipswich a memorable experience. The building itself is a wonderful sight and is well worth a visit. The restored church is part of a collective of 13 medieval churches in Ipswich, admire the architecture, artefacts and gather useful information on the many and varied activities that Ipswich has to offer.
