The popular Ipswich folk music nights aboard the sailing barge Victor have begun a new winter season.

The next session is on Friday 11th December. Doors open at 7.30pm and the entertainment starts at 8pm. Resident band Hunt the Wren will help things go with a swing with their mix of traditional folk tunes, shanties and popular songs but all are welcome to bring their voices and instruments and join in. Alternatively, just come along, relax and enjoy the atmosphere in the cosy lounge of this beautiful, historic vessel.

The cost is £15 per person, which includes a choice of hot, hearty suppers and the entertainment. Victor’s licensed bar will be open for the sale of wines, real ales and soft drinks.

Victor will be moored at her berth outside the Old Custom House on Ipswich Waterfront.

Tickets and information are available from Ipswich Tourist Information Centre in St Stephen’s Church. As well as the December date, there are sessions planned for February, March and April.
