We live in hope……..I write this with a very nice scarf wrapped around me to keep the chill of! Some summer we are having!

But it’s all going to change ready for Thursday June 11th and it will be the warmest night of the year. Just perfect for coming to our Midsummer Shopping Night to celebrate Cake & Catwalk and Vanilla Magazine 5th anniversaries.

A relaxed evening of live music with James Nunn and Elly Tree. A fashion show, Hair and beauty demos and over 26 stalls full of fashion, beauty, homewares and more.

It starts at 7 through to 9.30pm. Tickets £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door with a glass of pink fizz thrown in. The stand holders are donating from their shops prizes to the raffle I am doing a fashion hamper as a prize.

A great girl’s night out. I have tickets available in the shop as do several other of Vanilla’s advertisers who are involved in the event. Also a chance to see all your favourite boutiques under one roof and shop in the best little boutique in Ipswich.

Profits from the evening will be donated to Lighthouse a local charity supporting and embracing women and children who have suffered, or at risk from domestic abuse or violence.

Restore Revive and Relax

This is something I have not done before. I am organising a Yoga day here at the Jerwood on Saturday 25th July, 10 am to 5pm.

There will be classes to suit all levels and include all different styles including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, chair, inversions with meditation and discussions taught by a range of teachers. Natasha Hodge from Wide Eyed Nutrition will be giving us a talk and providing the healthy gluten and sugar free lunch. The cost of the whole day is £40 which includes lunch.

If you would like further information about booking please email me directly and I will contact you.

Spaces of course are limited so get in quick.

We already have a large following and dedicated yoga devotees here at DanceEast who are champing at the bit for more.

This is a great opportunity for you to try out these styles with expert instructors who will help you get started or align your posture or move you into positions you never knew you could do.
