A guided walk entitled “Happy Birthday Mr Dickens”, which explores the parts of Ipswich that the great writer knew and used in his writings, is being repeated on Wednesday 12thFebruary.

It is part of a popular series of afternoon tea walks prepared by Ipswich Tourist Guides. The walk will start at the Tourist Information Centre and end at Arlington’s Brasserie for tea and scones and short readings from some of Dickens’ works relating to the town.

Tickets cost just £7 per person per walk, which includes refreshments, and must be booked in advance. A colour leaflet with details of all the tea walks, and how to book, is available from Ipswich Borough Council’s Tourist Information Centre, St Stephen’s Church, St Stephen’s Lane.
