Slightly embarrassed. I did not produce a January Slice of Cake. Well frankly there was nothing to report and as my mother always used to say, if you have nothing nice to say it’s best not to say anything at all. And I hate January, its bleak, its poor and everyone is miserable.
So …. February. Starting to pick up and some events starting to happen. The shop has been very quiet but after such a fabulous December I am not going to grumble. I have some items that have been reduced and I still have some lovely winter scarves and hats (which have proved to be a great success) as I am assured that the worst of the weather is yet to arrive. For Danon fans I have reduced lots of the necklaces and bangles so there are some real bargains to be had. I have also been shopping and new products are arriving weekly. Lots of earrings and long necklaces from Tempest (Funky Jewellery) I found a new scarf supplier from Cornwall plus and a new range from Pasha now renamed as Treaty. New votive candles from Heaven Scent with their new range of body lotion £9.50, hand/body creams £6.50 and lip balms £3.75. They are all made from natural ingredients and produced in the UK. Valentine cards are out on sale and I have two new ranges including Fred & Penelope which are very funny. I will also have some fresh new handbags in by 2ndFebruary and a small selection of clothing.
