Get on board and help to light the town blue and help to raise awareness of autism.
World Autism Awareness Day is on 2nd of April 2014, as part of Autism Awareness month. On 2nd April the international autism community is attempting to light up many iconic landmarks, hotels, sporting venues, concert halls, museums, bridges and retail stores blue.
Last year in Ipswich the Light It Up Blue saw the whole St Nicholas Centre lit up blue. The success of the 2013 event was supported by great media coverage and we are attempting to build upon this for 2014. Working with businesses and landmarks across Ipswich, we aim to get support to light up a large proportion of the town centre.
The Light It Up Blue Campaign has the potential to increase the awareness of autism and help people to become more informed.
If your business would like to get involved with, there are a number of ways to get involved. How about lighting up your windows blue? Or lighting up larger parts of your building? Or maybe the whole building similar to what the St Nicholas Centre did last year?
The event will once again be supported by press coverage which could represent a great opportunity for your business.
