Do you want your band to perform at an event attracting a crowd of 40,000?
Ipswich Music Day is the largest free one-day music event in the UK and East Anglia’s brightest up-coming musical talents will be appearing across five stages, including the new Ed Sheeran Stage, and several other performance spaces throughout the day. Organisers are planning to add a new dimension to the 2014 event and are seeking musical artists from all genres of music.
The Borough Council’s Culture portfolio-holder, Councillor Bryony Rudkin, said: “The Ip-art festival is the highlight of the town’s cultural year and Ipswich Music Day is the cherry on the top. We have a fabulous local music scene and I strongly encourage any opportunity to give a stage to breaking new talent.”
Next year’s event will be held on Sunday 6th July 2014. Talented music artists and bands can apply to perform from today until 2nd March 2014.
Applications can be submitted online at www.ip-art.com with successful applicants being listed online from April 2014.
