The Undy 500 Challenge is back once again, this time it’s an Arctic Challenge.
A team of seventeen are taking part, wrapped up warm with woolly hats and thermal socks, they will drive the 2,500 miles to Helsinki in a fleet of eight cars. One of the challenges is that each car must cost no more than £500.
The route will take the Undy 500 Crew through Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Lulea, as they attempt to raise over £20,000 for two fantastic charities - The East Anglian Air Ambulance and the St Elizabeth Hospice.
The drivers are paying their own way and the cars will be sold at the end of the journey and funds raised from this will be added to the charity pot. Those taking part include: Steve Flory, Warwick Dunnett, Andy Jenkins, Simon Catterick, John O’Hara, Mike Latham, Imlach Shearer, Victor Shearer, Alex Tarry, David Mills, Dan Jarrold, Geoff Rich, Tim Ryan, Marcel Doornbos, and Michael Kane.
