Ipswich Town & Waterfront is pleased to learn that it has received a Local and Loved award. In a recent campaign run by thebestof people across the UK were asked to vote for their favourite business in town. Office Drinks Ipswich is run by Ipswich Town & Waterfront and this week we learnt from thebestof Ipswich that we finished runner-up as the most loved business in Ipswich, coming in second to Harbour Dental Care.

Ipswich Town & Waterfront has been running a monthly business networking event in Ipswich for almost a year now. During this time our events have been attended by more than 100 businesses. Aimed at supporting small to medium sized independent business, our monthly events are held in the evening at a time that is convenient to many business owners. Our events are held at the popular No 16 Bar & Kitchen, where Phil and his team provide great bar service and an evening buffet for attendees.

Office Drinks operates as speed-networking, allowing the 25 attendees to meet every other business owner in attendance. Ask yourself how many times have you been to a networking event where the room is packed, yet you come away having spoken to only a handful of people? Our relaxed, informal approach to networking means people can enjoy a great evening out, have plenty of time to talk to people, and make new connections to support business growth as well as a strong connected business community.

And the celebrations didn’t stop there. We also found out that in the national awards we came third place in the business support and networking category. This is a fantastic award for us to win, and I thank everyone of the business owners who have attended our networking events who took the time to vote for us. This award is for you, the local business community of Ipswich.

Ipswich Town & Waterfront, proud to champion local independent businesses in Ipswich, proud to be part of the Ipswich business community.
