Mum and I went to the “Insect Circus” on Wednesday at the New Wolsey Theatre. The audience was mainly filled with young children as the show was aimed at kids, even though it was perfect for all ages.

Some of the acts included tightrope walking, blade throwing, gymnastic, chair stacking and many other circus acts. Some of the gymnasts and performers wore human sized insect costumes while performing. For example one act was called “Fee and her Bee” in which Fee the female tightrope walker trains her ‘pet bee’ to tightrope with her.

The show was very educational as in between acts the ringmaster told the audience facts about the acts and about the insects included in the show and that the show is supported by the Ants Council.

Overall I loved the circus and it was the best one I’ve been to in a very long time as it was for all ages.
