GREENE KING VISITOR CENTRE
Situated in the heart of Bury St Edmunds, you will find the Visitor Centre next to the brewery. Be inspired by the history of Greene King and learn about its past when you visit the museum, or take a look around the art deco Brew House, and browse through the Greene King shop which is packed full of brewing memorabilia, merchandise and, of course, the world-famous Greene King beers.
MUSEUM
Did you know there has been a brewery on this site in Bury St Edmunds since 1700? The museum brings to life the history of Greene King, and interesting facts that date brewing in the town back as far as the eleventh century. Visit the museum and you will learn more about how the town’s chalk wells have served brewers for centuries and how the Greene and King families came together to create the company we know today.
GUIDED TOUR OF THE BREW HOUSE
Having learnt about the past, the guided tours bring you up to date with modern methods of brewing, using natural ingredients and traditional brewing methods. When you take a tour round our historic working Brew House you will also get the added bonus of the best view of Bury St Edmunds from the roof (weather permitting). You will also get to taste the different cask beers.
If you have a special event coming up the evening tour is a great way to start your celebration. Tours are open to both individuals and groups.
