Education is one of the golden keys to a successful life, and the Ipswich Waterfront plays host to two of the UK’s most modern educational facilities – Suffolk New College and University Campus Suffolk (UCS).

Suffolk New College offers a wide range of high quality vocational programmes, AS/A levels, GCSEs, Apprenticeships and much more, all delivered in an exciting and stimulating environment inside and outside the college walls, with over 2000 students a year taking courses on a wide range of subjects each year. In

University Campus Suffolk is where you will find undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and continuing professional development courses. The Waterfront building opened in September 2008 with the second phase on the University Quay now fully operational.

At UCS, science students can expect to learn in a state-of-the-art clinical skills facilities, biomechanics and physiology laboratories, including a specialised blood working area, microbiology and analytical laboratories and an iLab. Students will be able to work in their study bedrooms, where you can expect open study space, computer equipment, and extensive flexible learning and exhibition space.
