The sessions involve working in a series of poses and postures which are either seated or standing. There is a focus on breath and overall wellbeing therefore it can help participants who suffer from stress and anxiety.

Relaxation and Pranayama (breathing techniques) are practised to release tension in mind and body for overall health and well-being. 

Yoga is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance and it is widely practised for health and relaxation.

Some people find that the physical practice of yoga becomes a gateway into spiritual exploration, while others just enjoy a wonderful low-impact workout that makes them feel great. 

Typically, a DanceEast yoga class will focus purely on the physical benefits of yoga.
