Their products can be bought in a number of stockists throughout Ipswich including Cake and Catwalk and Cult Café. The owner Chris uses the innovative technique of upcycling to create amazing lamps. He is able to breathe new life into used items to give them a new story while at the same time creating a useful, functional and on-trend lamp for your home or office. There’s something for everyone with lamps available in all sorts of styles including musical instruments, literature, militaria and much more.

Description: Look fabulous for less is the motto of this fantastic shop, set on the Ipswich Waterfront. Find jewellery, scarves, handbags and gifts, and great customer service provided by Lynn Turner. The stock is frequently updated so it worth planning your visits right across the year to make sure you don’t miss on the many lovely items! Cake and Catwalk source their clothing, jewellery, bags, belts and scarves from over 20 suppliers/wholesalers, they hand pick the items themselves so you know you’re getting the best. They make sure that the items they sell aren’t ready available high street, take a visit if you want to find some unique good quality clothing and accessories from an independent seller.

Additional Information: Cake & Catwalk is based in the Jerwood DanceHouse, home to DanceEast. Next to the shop is DanceEats so when you’ve finished shopping why not stop off for a drink and a bite to eat, and take in the stunning views of the waterfront.

Description: Central City Comics is based in the Ipswich town centre and only a minute’s walk from the high street. If action comics, Spiderman, Batman and/or X Men get your attention then you’ll love this shop. Quirky, individual and totally out of this world! Okay, maybe that’s a bit over the top, but if you’re a comic fan you’ll understand. What is known now as Central City Comics was once known as Globe Fantasy Books when it first started in 1979! In 1989 a new location in Ipswich and the new name came along with it too. You will find exactly what you are after here, the staff are extremely helpful and will bend over backwards to give the best customer service possible.

Coes boasts a customer car park in in the town centre, an ample number of changing rooms and air conditioning. It has become a destination shopping experience for people all over Suffolk and East Anglia.

Pickwicks Coffee & Tea House

Description: Once the office of Thomas Wolsey’s secretary, this 16th century building is now home to Pickwicks. If what you are looking for is a Coffee and Tea House that differs from the High Street chains, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you arrive at Pickwicks Coffee and Tea House. There are 50 varieties of tea and 50 varieties of coffee to enjoy, which can also be purchased from the merchant counter. Pickwicks also stocks a fine selection of teapots, cups, mugs and coffee and tea making equipment. This interesting café is situated on Dial Street in the centre of Ipswich.
